The Department Of Energy held the first IRP Public Review on 26 November 2010 at the DURBAN INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION CENTRE. Below a table of programme and presentations given by various stakeholders and interested parties.
The Generation Life Cycle Cost Input
Parameter Information Sheet provides the background for how supply side (or
power generation) options are modelled in the development of the IRP,
highlighting the parameters required for incorporating technology options in
capacity planning.
The EPRI report on Supply Side Costs provides an
independent view of the costs of new generation capacity from the perspective of
the different technology options.
This executive summary provides the
overview of the different technologies and the indicators required for the IRP.
The completed and finalised report of July 2010 provides additional detail
regarding the technologies and the assumptions behind the values.
